Getafe have announced that midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada has left in order to join UAE Pro-League side Al Jazira Club.
The Morocco international joined the Madrid club s B team from Paris Saint-Germain in 2010, and has played a prominent role since breaking in to the first team at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez 12 months later.
But he has now elected to move on from La Liga, despite having made 30 starts as Getafe finished 10th in the Spanish top-flight last term.
Al Jazira finished third in the 2012-13 UAE Pro League, securing qualification for next season s AFC Champions League as a result.
Barrada was born in France but elected to represent Morocco at international level, and has scored two goals in 15 appearances for the north African country.
The 24-year-old becomes Al Jazira s fourth signing of the off-season following the arrivals of Yaqoub Yousef, Fareed Ismail and Musallem Fayez.
